Very good value for money, central location in West London next to Hyde Park - good access to tube. Nice personnel, very helpful, no charge for internet. Very small room, but very clean and good and new shower facilities. Ideal if you need a stay in good location.
High audibility, you hear everything going on in other rooms (but was no problem to me).
Location location location - thats all :)
The owner was downright rude although the other staff were friendly and affable.
Beds were very comfortable, although not very stable. 24 hour staff that was very helpful with any questions. Good shower.
The bathroom was small, shower cabin really too small
The room was small but had everything one would need while staying in a city centre. It had a small ensuite too with shower and wc. Close to the hotel, approx 2mins walk, there are a number of restaurants, bars, mini markets and also is very close to Padington station. Would stay again if I had to go.
No free WIFI, and no lift - in our case we were ground floor but if we had to stay at the top floors it would have been a problem.
Better far from what I expected as I have stayed in several hotels in the area over the years as the Paddington area is most convenient for me
Breakfast a bit limited
Very helpful staff - let us check in early after a long flight ! Assisted with directions locally and were always helpful.
Rooms are small but this is central London. For the price, the location is great !
Bedding/towels white and clean.
Beds - similar to camp beds room size - tiny bathroom - very small, shower curtain ripped, no toiletries. Pillows - like bricks carpet - dirty no tea/coffee facilities. Did not pay bunkhouse price but received bunkhouse accommodation.
The location to the station and the fact that it was clean and reasonably comfortable.
I found the staff a little aloof and the internet access in my room was very limited, in fact there was effectively no internet access in my room.
short walk to tube station and local shops; spotlessly clean;very friendly and accommodating staff
compact en-suite shower/wc may not be to everyone's liking
It was close to Paddington station and thus well connected. Wireless internet (though didn't always work).
The staff were rude and impolite. There was no elevator in the hotel- imagine carrying 20+ kgs of luggage up three flights of stairs! (And the staff wont help, even if you are a woman). The breakfast was basic-no choices. Limited English breakfast and the same every day. The cleaners wont clean your room despite being told many times in anything less than 4 days! They wont take out the trash if you are in the room (hotel policy!?!), thus if you decide to spent a day in the room-the smell of rotting trash will kill you, if the lack of ventilation doesn't! The rooms are small and claustrophobic. The bed springs give you a hard time. The tv was a 14 inch model from the 1950's and mounted so high up the wall that you had to crane your neck to see it. In short, a terrible experience and I wont ever stay there!
great location, reasonable price with english breakfast! helpful stuff too.
the old man in the reception was not very friendly
Breakfast was good.Handy for Paddington.Staff were pleasant and helpful
I was on the top floor of about seven with no lift. The breakfast is served in the basement room below reception..From breakfastroom to my room was 84 steps each way not including the landings which was too much for someone who is not particularly fit(but not decrepit either)There were no tea making facilities in the room and it was adjacent to a noisy road. The Hotel sign is not obvious so I spent some time locating it in a row of hotels, after walking past it and missing the sign in a glass panel above its doorway.
For a cheapish Paddington hotel this is fine. Room small but clean and well laid out. Good breakfast in immaculate breakfast room. Staff pleasant and cheery and the location, minutes walk from Paddington station, ideal.
That it was very close to rail st and shops.
The staff at breakfast need to learn some manners. One of our rooms was a problem the toilet smelt which we reported, hopefully they listened. And it is fairly noisy out side but what do you expect after all it's London
Location was good. Breakfast OK but dull.
No lift was bad news considering the heavy cases - no lift should be on their advertising.
